Dr. Roh has been in practice in the Kansas City and
Johnson County area since 1990 after serving in the Air Force for 4 years. He
has a special interest in laparscopic and transplant surgery. His wife, Lynne,
is also a surgeon practicing with Old Westport ENT. He is a proud father of
three children. In his spare time, he is an avid Cornhusker and Chiefs fan as
well as connoisseur of fine dining. He was

William R.
Campbell, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Campbell joined our practice in 2006 coming from Midwest General
Surgery. He has been practicing in the Kansas City area since 1991. In
addition to seeing patients at the Wornall office, Dr. Campbell sees patients at
the Research Brookside campus. He has two children and his wife, Cheryl, is
also a physician working in the Kansas City area. Dr. Campbell believes in
treating patients the way he would want his family treated. He was voted

Rex Joyce, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Residency: Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, 1987

Fellow in the American College of Surgeons
Dr. Joyce is a western Kansas native, growing up in Garden City Kansas. He
has been a surgeon in the Kansas City area since 1987. In addition to providing
surgical services to Kansas City and the surrounding area, he is very interested
in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer. His other special interest is
endocrine surgery. Dr. Joyce sees patients at the Research campus in addition to
seeing patients at the Wornall office. Dr. Joyce’s hobbies include playing
piano, yard work and skiing. Most of his spare time currently is spent helping
to raise his two daughters with his wife, Kathy. He was voted one of Kansas

Thomas Franey, M.D.,

Education: University of Missouri at Kansas City Medical School, 1985
Residency: North Shore University Hospital, Manhassett, New York, 1990

Fellow in the American College of Surgeons
Dr. Franey is a Kansas City native and graduate of O’Hara High School and the
UMKC School of Medicine. He returned to Kansas City from his residency in New
York and has been a practicing surgeon here since 1990. In addition to seeing
patients at the Wornall office, Dr. Franey also sees patients at the Hickman
Mills Clinic. He is a proud father of three children and his wife, Michelle, is
a family practice physician at the Hickman Mills Clinic. Dr. Franey is a sports
enthusiast and an avid golfer. He also enjoys traveling as much as his busy
schedule allows.

E. Ragnar Peterson, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Peterson was raised in Lindsborg, Kansas, and returned to Kansas City
after several years of private practice in Texas. Dr. Peterson performs a wide
range of general surgery procedures as well as advanced laproscopic procedures.
Dr. Peterson's philosophy has been shaped by the fact that he has himself had
several major surgeries. He believes that the secret to caring for the patient
is, quite simply, caring for the patient.
